We are seeking a Privacy Operations Specialist to join our award-winning privacy function in Budapest. This role supports Vodafone Group’s global Privacy Programme, helping to protect the privacy of over 500 million customers and employees. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of privacy-related activities including AI risk assessments, incident management, and supplier compliance, contributing to the development and implementation of privacy processes and tools.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct privacy impact assessments and AI risk assessments across diverse data processing activities
Manage privacy-related requests, ensuring timely triage and categorisation
Respond to Subject Access Requests for Vodafone Group staff
Support initial investigations of privacy incidents
Assist with supplier compliance and re-assessments of high/medium risk processing activities
Maintain records and perform quality assurance checks
Participate in regular policy compliance reviews
Contribute to the development of privacy notices, templates, and guidance
Support external and internal data protection terms
Collaborate with the Group Privacy team on additional privacy initiatives as required
Requirements:
1–2+ years’ experience in privacy and/or legal roles
Strong understanding of global privacy regulations and compliance standards
Experience with contracts and data protection clauses
Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
Excellent command of English with strong communication skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with OneTrust and Jira is a plus
Willingness to learn about the EU AI Act
