We are seekingFullstack Software Engineers to join the Machine Learning Experience (MLX)team, who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. The MLX team is at the forefront of how Capital One builds and deploys responsible ML models and features; we onboard and educate associates on the ML platforms and products that the whole company uses; we drive new innovation and research; and we’re working to seamlessly infuse Generative AI and ML into the fabric of the company. The AI experience we're creating is the foundation upon which our lines of business will continue to deliver next-generation machine learning-driven products and services for our customers. As a Capital One Fullstack Software Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community
  • Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment
  • Utilize programming languages like Python, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
  • 5+ years of experience in one of the following: Java, Python, or GoLang
  • 3+ years of experience working along with AWS EKS, Kafka, ECS, Fargate and Lambdas
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile practices
