Job Description:

Randstad Education is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to work in a network of schools across the Horsham area. This is a Term-Time Only contract offering both Full-Time or Part-Time flexibility. You will be a vital partner to teachers and pupils, focused on creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning experience for young children.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and activities
  • Providing targeted support to individual students or small groups, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Helping with behaviour management and maintaining classroom structure
  • Organizing teaching resources and materials
  • Participating in school events and parent meetings as required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children (ideally in a primary school)
  • A caring, patient, and encouraging manner
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A firm commitment to safeguarding and child welfare (enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required)
  • Relevant qualifications are a bonus but not essential
