Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Primary Supply Teaching Assistant to join our team. This temporary role is ideal for those with classroom experience who are looking for flexible work within a primary school setting. You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher and ensuring a positive learning environment for students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and activities
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support for literacy and numeracy
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote good conduct
  • Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Supervising children during break and lunchtimes
  • Following the school's policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment
