Job Description:

Randstad is seeking empathetic Teaching Assistants to work at a wonderful School in Harpenden. As a successful candidate, you will assist and mentor every student in addition to doing routine classroom tasks. This is a wonderful Primary School, nestled in the beautiful town of Hertfordshire, for children aged 3 -11 years. As an educational institution, they take great satisfaction in fostering the intellectual growth of each student by providing them with an engaging and innovative curriculum that inspires them to dream big!

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all the children
  • Working with small groups and 1:1
  • Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
  • Able to make an impression on both us and our client
  • Previous experience in Primary Schools is preferred
  • Flexibly adhere to the needs of the children in a professional and friendly manner
  • Good classroom management skills
