Lead strategic pricing negotiations and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the dynamic Japanese pharmaceutical market. Job Responsibility:
Lead strategic price negotiations with MHLW on assigned products
Assess price potential of products in collaboration with Market Access
Contribute to business planning with insightful analysis of the healthcare and pricing environment
Collaborate with internal departments to secure support for optimal pricing
Collaborate with Global Pricing & Market Access to align local strategy with global goals
Build strong relationships with MHLW officials and industry colleagues
Requirements:
Proven experience negotiating new drug pricing with MHLW
Experience developing assumptions and forecasts for new drug prices
Excellent knowledge of Japanese healthcare business and reimbursement regulations
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics, Pharmacy, etc.)
Fluent Japanese (speaking and writing) and business-level English
