Job Description:

Pre-Sales Solutions Architect partners with the local sales and pre-sales technical teams to help deliver in-depth technical presentations, work through complex Proofs of Concept, and kickoff initial software implementations. Solutions Architect is also the lynchpin between the field (customers) and development, playing a vital role in taking customer and prospect feedback and communicating it back to the Product and Development teams to help drive the product roadmap.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with local sales and pre-sales technical teams to drive technical sales process
  • Deliver in-depth technical presentations
  • Work through complex Proofs of Concept
  • Kickoff initial software implementations
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations
  • Manage complex customer environments and deliver Proofs of Concept and initial software implementations
  • Communicate customer and prospect feedback back to Product and Development teams

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Solution Architecture experience
  • Understanding of technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, and other container technologies
  • Programming skills (Java, Python, PHP, JSON, NodeJS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Ability to design implementation architectures
  • Ability to build integrations using a REST API
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM) Experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the IT Operations market and competitive landscape
  • Strong understanding of the cloud native market
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage and sell to large, complex technical environments
