Job Description:

King’s College Murcia is seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Pre-Pre Nursery Teacher to join our Early Years team from late August 2026. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to support our very youngest learners—typically aged 18 months to 2 years—by creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can begin their learning journey through exploration, play, and positive relationships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based activities that support early communication, sensory exploration, and social–emotional growth
  • Establish warm, trusting relationships with young children, helping them settle, feel secure, and build confidence in their early routines
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times, following safeguarding and Early Years best practice
  • Observe and record developmental milestones, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to support each child’s progress
  • Work collaboratively with the Early Years team to ensure smooth transitions, consistent routines, and a positive, child-centred environment
  • Communicate warmly and professionally with parents, supporting strong home–school partnerships
  • Contribute to Early Years events, initiatives, and continuous improvement within the department

Requirements:

  • A recognised Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, Early Years Educator, PGCE with Early Years focus, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with very young children (18 months–2 years) in a nursery, daycare, or early childhood setting
  • A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting early development
  • A strong understanding of child development and the importance of play-based, sensory-rich learning
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  • A commitment to contributing to a caring and stimulating Early Years environment
What we offer:
  • Work in state-of-the-art facilities alongside industry-renowned educators and leaders in some of the world's most desirable locations
  • Industry-leading professional development
  • Exceptional career opportunities
  • Mobility across our group
