The internship will be a rewarding experience if you are passionate about aeronautics, sciences and new technologies. You will be part of an ambitious and flexible project execution with a diverse technical team, with partners from worldwide industry and academia, start-ups in a dynamic and emulating environment. The objective of this internship is to participate in research work on innovative power converters for aircrafts, also on test bench design and testing of this topic. You will be part of the dedicated team and you will work on the development and validation of the test methods.

Job Responsibility:

  • Simulation & analysis of power converter
  • Prototyping & Integration electronics design
  • Assembly and integrated test of power electronics
  • Participate in research work on innovative power converters for aircrafts
  • Work on test bench design and testing
  • Work on development and validation of test methods
  • Range of units under test from component level (semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, inductances…) up to functional brick level of power converters

Requirements:

  • Preparing a diploma level in Bachelor/Master Thesis or internship in Electrical engineering or equivalent with specialisation in Electrical engineering
  • Skills in electrical design, power electronics: Analog, digital and power electronics circuits
  • Skills in measurement, instrumentation and testing method
  • Knowledge about superconductivity and cryogenic
  • Fluency in English
  • Passion about technology, science
  • Eagerness to take initiatives to propose simpler and efficient ways of working
