As a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) practitioner, you will help children and young people with learning disabilities, Autism and sometimes other support needs to transform their lives. We are looking for someone to join our team working across Lancashire.
Job Responsibility:
Help children and young people with learning disabilities, Autism and sometimes other support needs to transform their lives
Work with children and young people who may not be accessing education and may be at significant risk of entering specialist residential care
Understand the lived experience of the young person
Support them, their families, carers and other professionals to learn and apply the appropriate positive behaviour support techniques
Enable young people to stay in their current placements, access their communities and build tools they will use for the rest of their lives
Requirements:
Full UK Manual driving licence
Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel
Previous experience working with Children and young people with learning disabilities and Autism

If you do not already hold a BTEC Level 4 in Positive Behaviour Support you will be enrolled onto this course and supported throughout your studies while you work with us, on completion you will receive a salary increase to £27,500
