Job Description:

Pool Attendant position at JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay responsible for maintaining pool deck cleanliness, promoting a fun atmosphere, ensuring guest safety, and providing excellent customer service in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck
Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Observe activity in recreational facility and respond appropriately in emergencies
Promote rules and regulations of recreation facility
Inform supervisor of unsafe guest situations
Provide assistance to injured guests
Obtain, fold, and stack towels
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Follow company policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance is professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak using clear and professional language
Develop positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance standards
Read and visually verify information
Visually inspect tools and equipment
Enter work-related information using computers
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Fitness Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
Ability to wash, mop, and clean pool deck
Ability to observe activity and respond appropriately in emergencies
Ability to provide assistance to injured guests
Ability to obtain, fold, and stack towels
Ability to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Ability to maintain professional appearance
Ability to welcome and acknowledge guests
Ability to speak clearly and professionally
Ability to develop positive working relationships
Ability to read and visually verify information
Ability to visually inspect tools and equipment
Ability to use computers and point of sale systems
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
