Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Pool and Beach Ambassador who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Pool and Beach Ambassador have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Embody the spirit of aloha and act as an ambassador of the Hualalai Ohana
  • Ensure all guests at the pool & beach areas are offered complimentary amenities at the designated time of delivery
  • Familiarize with all of the amenities we offer and where they originate from as well as familiarize with property and all of the amenities that are offered throughout
  • Inform guests of all the activities they can partake on throughout the property
  • Be knowledgeable on all the hours of service for all the food and beverage outlets
  • Enlighten guests about the cultural center and the history of the island
  • Prepare an adequate number of amenities for the day-off and for the following day
  • Keep work/preparation areas clean and organized (Surf Shack & Kids for All Seasons)
  • Communicate with leadership team to ensure proper stock of amenity supplies
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • assist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices

Requirements:

  • Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
  • Weekend & Holiday availability required
