Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in end-to-end testing, understands web technologies, and collaborates closely with developers, product owners, BAs, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role requires strong proficiency in Playwright, JavaScript, and CI/CD tools, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end automated test scripts using Playwright
  • Build and enhance test frameworks using TypeScript / JavaScript
  • Automate cross‑browser testing
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
  • Integrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
  • Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects clearly
  • Maintain test data and reusable test utilities
  • Ensure tests follow best practices, coding standards, and version control
  • Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and automation best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright
