Play is powerful, and at Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue we want every child to experience play that builds confidence, independence and joy. We are looking for a reliable, motivated and child centred Play Worker to help us deliver high quality, inclusive play every day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take the lead in creating vibrant, engaging playtimes
  • supervising a wide variety of activities and championing child led, inclusive play in line with Opal Play principles
  • help maintain inspiring play spaces and well prepared equipment
  • building warm, respectful relationships with pupils and staff
  • uphold safeguarding, behaviour expectations and academy values
  • working collaboratively with colleagues across safeguarding and leadership
  • participate in ongoing training, including safeguarding, first aid and professional development
