Job Responsibility:
Participate in code reviews and contribute to key architectural decisions, setting a high standard for code quality and engineering practices
Building solutions for BlackRock and over 100 organizations who use our technology
Developing high quality software in Java, Python and Golang using technologies like Cassandra, Solr, Redis, Kafka, K8s, and many others
Committed to open source and contributing back to the community
Writing testable software every day, with a focus on incremental innovation
Requirements:
Minimum of 7+ years software engineering work experience on large scale software development and deployment
BS/MS in Computer Science from an accredited university
Strong programming skills for UI development (HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript, frameworks, unit testing tools)
Programming skills in Java, Python and Golang, or a willingness to learn them
Experience in Linux shell
Demonstrated deep understanding and practical experience with a diverse range of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including but not limited to: OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, Basic Authentication, Certificate-Based Authentication, Mutual TLS (mTLS), and Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL)
Experience with API frameworks, google AIPs and protobuff
Experience with gRPC, including defining service contracts using Protocol Buffers and implementing gRPC clients and servers
Hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and integrating with enterprise-grade Identity Providers such as Keycloak, Okta, or Azure AD
Familiarity with SAML, JWT, and PKI infrastructure
