Job Description:

We are recruiting a Software Engineer to join our Developer Experience (Devex) team. The team's mission is to provide our developers with state-of-the-art experience enabling them to deliver continuously and seamlessly, in a secure manner, all the way to production. This team provides our software engineers with models, practices, products, and tools focused on collaboration, security, and performance. The goal is to reduce the time between writing the first lines of code and production deployment—specifically reducing the time and complexity between the build phase and deploy/run phases for feature teams, while increasing confidence in what is developed and delivered, and maintaining feature team accountability and autonomy. We are currently transforming our approach from traditional platform engineering to an "Agentic" model for internal tools. You will play a key role in this evolution, helping us move from writing manual tests to building a code qualification factory powered by AI agents and natural language prompts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Continuously engage with development teams to understand their challenges and feed the team's roadmap to enhance development practices and tools
  • Lead architectural thinking for your features and their integration into existing systems
  • Develop features after breaking them down into atomic tasks to facilitate testing and code reviews
  • Attend and potentially lead design meetings or grooming sessions
  • Ensure and improve the stability/robustness of products/applications your team is responsible for through code reviews and test writing
  • Conduct code reviews and pair programming with team developers
  • Monitor and resolve production issues for your team's products/applications
  • Enhance user guides for your team's products/applications
  • Participate in Mirakl Labs' continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Golang
  • Ideally 2 years with Java and/or ReactJS
  • Familiar with Python for automation and AI
  • Understanding of software factory challenges
  • A desire to work in an environment where you can quickly see the impact of your work and continuously learn and perfect your skills
  • A strong sense of autonomy
  • Professional English proficiency
