Job Responsibility:
Oversee all month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Prepare comprehensive financial statements in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting efforts, partnering closely with operational teams to translate insights into action
Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing cost and overall financial performance
Develop, refine, and support cost accounting methodologies, including standard cost reviews and accurate cost allocations
Direct robust inventory control processes, including variance analysis and audit compliance
Mentor, coach, and direct the finance and accounting team, inspiring professional growth and a culture of precision
Collaborate with cross-functional departments—operations, supply chain, and more—to optimize financial strategies and business planning
Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement
Serve as primary liaison for external auditors and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or CMA preferred
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a plant, divisional, or corporate controller role within manufacturing
automotive industry experience strongly preferred
Deep expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and inventory management
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
