The planner will be responsible for supporting the production planning activities for the Kentucky site remotely ensuring timely and accurate creation, release, and maintenance of production orders. This role plays a key part in preventing production delays by monitoring material availability, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and leading shortage review activities through CTS reporting. Responding promptly to operational needs and escalations. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP and Excel tools, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Occasional onsite support at the Kentucky facility may be required.
Job Responsibility:
Create, release, and maintain production orders for the Kentucky site remotely, and attend onsite meetings if required
Monitor material availability and coordinate with cross-functional teams to prevent production delays
Generate and analyze CTS reports
lead meetings with purchasing team to review shortages and ensure alignment with the build plan
Provide planning support during assigned shifts, ensuring timely response to operations and escalation needs
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in production planning, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment for 1 or 2 years
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP (preferred)
Familiarity with BOM (Bill of Materials) hierarchy, components, and relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros, data management, and analysis
Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
