Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare menu items according to recipe standards
  • Maintain required stock levels and make supply ordering recommendations
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly including ovens, stoves, mixers, and fryers
  • Execute proficient knife skills and various cutting techniques
  • Work different kitchen stations and follow diverse recipes
  • Assemble salads, desserts, and other pre-prepared items
  • Ensure all dishes are executed and plated correctly following chef instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned stations and equipment
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines rigorously
  • Organize and rotate food items in walk-in coolers
  • Prepare, stock, and organize line setup before and after shifts
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Report equipment failures or hazardous conditions promptly
  • Work efficiently to complete tasks within assigned time frames
  • Attend employee meetings and participate actively
  • Perform additional cleaning and food production duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role preferred
  • ServSafe training preferred
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a stressful work environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional manner
  • Superb multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Available to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Positive and engaging personality with professional appearance
