Job Description:

The Pickleball Instructor is responsible for running open play sessions and drills/skills sessions at the McFetridge Sports Center.

Job Responsibility:

  • Instruct both group and private lessons with knowledge of the basic pickleball skills and terminology
  • Utilize available pickleball equipment to maximize the development of basic pickleball strokes in small and large group lessons
  • Develop and grow the Pickleball program to meet the needs of the community
  • Notify Tennis Coordinator of any equipment repairs needed and maintenance of courts
  • Provide a safe and fun environment that promotes enjoying the sport for exercise and fun
  • Attract players and help build the program

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years previous pickleball instruction experience
  • Ability to teach fundamental pickleball skills to various skill levels
  • Flexible with hours
  • PPR certification is required
  • Ability to run leagues and tournaments is preferred
