Picker

Complete tasks which assist the day to day running of the delivery operations for the following day, ensuring all customers orders are picked correctly, stacked correctly and wrapped in a professional manner picking from 1500 different products ranging from kegs to packaged beers to wines and spirits. Manual handling is involved

• Adhering to good practice within the warehouse
• Responsible for correctly picking orders and placing in the correct areas for deliveries
• Reporting stock issues to supervisory or stock control team
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
• Wear the correct equipment for your job when on site, for example, safety boots, gloves, the correct high visibility vest
• Assist with ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
• Ensure that all new stock delivered must be put away ASAP
• all stock must be put away in the correct bin-bay location and match the delivery note received
• Assist with stock audits on a weekly basis
• Assist in the monthly stock takes at weekends if and when required
• Flexible approach to working
• Assisting drivers as mate as an when required
• Being able to prioritise workloads
• Good team work skill
• Good communication skills
• Good product knowledge
