We are looking for a skilled PIA P&C Support Specialist (Tier II) to join our team on a contract basis in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will provide advanced customer service and technical support related to the Property & Casualty suite of products, workers' compensation, and insurance bonds. This position requires a proactive approach to resolving client issues, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver exceptional customer support to internal teams and external clients regarding Property & Casualty products, workers' compensation, and insurance bonds
Investigate and resolve technical issues for external users, offering solutions and referring unresolved matters to appropriate personnel as needed
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Paychex Insurance Agency portfolio, systems, and processes to address client inquiries effectively
Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist clients with Property & Casualty products and workers' compensation payment services
Accurately document all communications with clients and stakeholders to ensure proper record-keeping
Develop and recommend process improvements and enhancements to optimize client support and satisfaction
Stay updated on regulatory changes, policy updates, and industry developments to provide informed assistance to clients
Utilize multiple software applications, carrier websites, and bureau systems to respond to inquiries and resolve issues
Collaborate with insurance carriers and other stakeholders to maintain positive, precise relationships
Participate in assigned projects and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to team success
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
At least 2 years of experience in customer service or insurance-related roles
Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products and workers' compensation
Proficiency in using software applications and carrier websites to resolve client inquiries
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain strong, detail-oriented relationships with clients and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to research and analyze issues to provide effective solutions
Familiarity with human resource information systems (HRIS) and related reporting tools
Ability to adapt to industry changes, policy updates, and regulatory requirements
