Job Description:

Join our caring team at Christadelphian Aged Care in Gladesville as a Physiotherapist! This part-time role offers flexible, school-friendly hours and the opportunity to make a real difference to our Residents by providing assistance with pain management and rehabilitation to enhance our Residents’ everyday wellbeing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans for residents
  • Delivering a range of physiotherapy interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and assistive device recommendations
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure integrated and holistic care for residents
  • Providing education and training to residents, their families, and care staff on physiotherapy-related topics
  • Maintaining detailed clinical records and contributing to the continuous improvement of physiotherapy services

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged care sector
  • Demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment planning, and the delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and the care team
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices
