Job Description:

Join our team as a Band 6 Acute Physiotherapist and play a vital role in delivering rapid, effective care to acutely unwell patients. In this role, you will assess patients, develop treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prioritize dynamic caseloads, and maintain clinical records with adherence to trust policies. The position offers flexibility, ongoing duration, and competitive hourly rates.

Job Responsibility:

Perform thorough and timely assessments of patients within A&E, Clinical Assessment Units, Short Stay Units, and/or Rapid Response settings
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to promote early mobility and discharge
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support seamless patient transitions across care settings
Prioritise and manage a dynamic caseload efficiently
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in line with trust policies

Requirements:

A current and valid HCPC registration
Demonstrated experience working in acute settings such as A&E, CAUs, SSUs, or Rapid Response
Excellent clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
