Job Description:

As the Physical Security Operations & Systems Lead for the San Antonio Card Production Facilities, you will oversee physical security operations for two high-security centers. You will manage contracted security officers, ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, and maintain advanced security systems. This role also drives automation and innovation initiatives to enhance security efficiency and operational resilience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise daily security operations across two card production facilities, ensuring 24/7 coverage and adherence to security protocols
  • Manage contracted security officers, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and compliance with post orders and SLAs
  • Oversee and maintain security systems, including CCure access control, CCure 9000, Avigilon, Victor applications, CCTV surveillance, alarm monitoring, and intrusion detection technologies
  • Implement automation and technology-driven improvements such as AI-based video analytics, automated credentialing workflows, and integrated dashboards
  • Enforce PCI and corporate security standards for card production environments
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify gaps
  • Respond to and document security incidents, escalating as required, and lead investigations of breaches or suspicious activity
  • Collaborate with facility management, IT, and compliance teams to align security with operational objectives
  • Train staff and contractors on security awareness and basic system operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in physical security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and intrusion detection technologies
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance and secure material handling protocols
  • Experience with physical security automation tools and innovative technologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to emergencies

Nice to have:

  • Advanced certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional)
  • Knowledge of Power Bi and Ai integration into physical security systems
