Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence. Job Responsibility:
Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver an exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill patients' prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
Demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture
Complete company training program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off)
Create heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients
Offer immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
Support immunizations where allowable by law (preparing and administering vaccines)
Educate patients about the importance of vaccines
Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions
Review and collect patient information
Monitor and manage vaccine supplies
Requirements:
Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program (if state doesn't mandate minimum education)
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
