Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Technicians assist in ensuring pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled accurately, and provide caring service to patients. Role involves working at various pharmacy workstations including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers with exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at all workstations
Complete inventory activities as directed
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't specify)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't specify)
State-level licensure and certification as required
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across market locations to meet business needs
