Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health providing compassionate care to millions of patients daily. Role involves working in a leading retail pharmacy company to positively impact lives and health of others. Position requires completing extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfying all state registration, licensing and certification requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver compassionate care to patients
Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
Support team's ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Maintain highest professional and ethical standards
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations
Maintain patient confidentiality
Complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and Focus - ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
Customer Service Orientation - friendly, helpful manner with customers
Communication Skills - verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues
Mathematical Reasoning - ability to use math to solve problems like calculating day's supply of prescriptions
Problem Resolution - judgment to recognize problems and choose appropriate solutions
Physical demands - standing for sustained periods, moving between work areas, finger dexterity, arm extension, bending, stooping, lifting up to 30 lbs
Visual acuity for computer work, reading, and inspection

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
