Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, filling prescriptions accurately, following standard procedures, and contributing to safe pharmacy operations. May include immunization support where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers with exceptional service
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete basic inventory activities as directed
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Manage vaccine supplies

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't specify)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't specify)
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly between tasks
Customer service orientation with friendly manner
Good communication skills including verbal and written
Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical ability to stand upright for extended periods, lift items, reach overhead, and perform fine motor tasks

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations
