Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, maintaining inventory, and potentially supporting immunizations where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about importance of vaccines
Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate)
High school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate)
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical abilities including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing upright for extended periods, reaching overhead, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
