Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams to deliver excellent service and safe prescription fulfillment. They contribute to positive patient experiences, manage inventory, support immunizations, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Living the company's purpose by following SOPs
Executing pharmacy workflow processes for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contributing to positive patient experiences with empathy and personalized moments
Assisting patients with immunizations and health services
Managing pharmacy inventory
Collaborating as part of a high-performing team
Traveling to market stores to meet business needs
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Administering vaccines where allowable by law
Monitoring vaccine supplies and adverse reactions.

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention to detail and focus
Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
Ability to actively assist patients
Verbal and written communication skills
Basic mathematical reasoning
Problem-solving abilities
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across multiple store locations.
