Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and inclusive team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices
Complete company training program
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Review and collect patient information

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't specify)
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school (if state doesn't specify)
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
Notice and understand patients' reactions and respond appropriately
Use and understand verbal and written communication
Ability to use math to solve problems
Identifying challenging interactions and choosing the best course of action
Physical mobility and ability to lift items
Ability to work across market locations to meet business needs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
