Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and inclusive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers with exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete inventory activities as directed
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Track and document patient information

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on tasks
Customer service skills
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work across multiple locations to meet business needs
