Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, completing inventory activities, and supporting immunizations where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers with exceptional experience
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
Support immunizations and other health care services where allowable by law
Educate patients about importance of vaccines
Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice
Must be at least 16 years of age if state doesn't mandate minimum age
Must have high school diploma or equivalent if state doesn't mandate education
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical mobility and ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
