Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, filling prescriptions accurately, maintaining inventory, and providing health services including immunizations where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
Assist patients and customers with exceptional service
Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Fill prescriptions promptly, safely, and accurately
Follow Standard Operating Procedures at each workstation
Complete basic inventory activities
Support immunizations and other health services where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for adverse reactions
Maintain patient records and documentation

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
High school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical demands including lifting up to 20 lbs, standing upright for extended periods, reaching overhead, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations
