Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician role at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Responsible for assisting patients, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, and contributing to safe pharmacy operations.

Job Responsibility:

Following all company SOPs at each workstation
Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off)
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Completing basic inventory activities as permitted by law
Contributing to a high-performing team
Understanding and complying with all relevant federal, state, and local laws
Delivering additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing)
Supporting immunizations where permissible

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
If state board doesn't mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age
If state board doesn't mandate minimum education, must have high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus

Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical demands including mobility, lifting, reaching, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
