Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health supporting pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence. Role involves assisting patients, filling prescriptions, maintaining pharmacy operations, and providing health care services where permitted by law.

Job Responsibility:

Follow company SOPs at each workstation
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off stations
Provide patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
Offer immunizations and other services at register and over the phone
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
Support immunizations where allowable by law
Educate patients about vaccines
Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions
Review and collect patient information

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice
Must be at least 16 years of age (if state doesn't mandate minimum age)
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (if state doesn't mandate education)
State-level licensure and national certification as required by state
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical ability to perform job duties

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in home store and across market in other locations
