Job Description:

Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health providing opportunity to work in leading retail pharmacy company, delivering compassionate care to patients, and helping people on their path to better health through prescription advising and chronic condition management.

Job Responsibility:

Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
Support team in promptly, safely and accurately filling patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Deliver compassionate care to patients
Maintain highest professional and ethical standards
Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met
Maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and Focus - ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
Customer Service Orientation - friendly manner and helping attitude
Communication Skills - verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues
Mathematical Reasoning - ability to use math to solve problems like calculating day's supply of prescriptions
Problem Resolution - judgment to recognize problems and choose best course of action
Physical demands including standing, moving, lifting up to 30 lbs, visual acuity for detailed work

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
