Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians at CVS Health support pharmacy operations and provide exceptional patient care through accurate prescription fulfillment, customer interaction, team collaboration, and inventory management. The role involves complying with regulations, participating in training, and maintaining professionalism in all interactions while fostering an inclusive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Living company purpose by following all SOPs
assisting pharmacy team with operational excellence
ensuring timely and accurate prescription fulfillment
maintaining inventory activities such as cycle counts and restocking
contributing to a high-performing team with a growth mindset
complying with laws, regulations, and safety protocols
supporting patient health care services like immunizations where permissible
completing patient data entry and documentation.

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
must be at least 16 years of age if no state minimum age is required
must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program
state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe
ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
ability to concentrate on tasks over a period of time
ability to actively listen and communicate with patients and colleagues
ability to perform mathematical reasoning to solve pharmacy-related problems
ability to meet physical job demands such as lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, and conducting repetitive motions
consistent and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work across locations as needed.
