Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician License
Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician or 1 year experience as a technician or graduate of a pharmacy program
3 months experience in a backend environment preferred
Must be able to stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours)
Must be able to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs for duration of shift
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs during a shift
High School Degree or equivalent

Job Responsibility

Selects, picks, packages and labels medications and ancillary supplies per prescriptions
Accurate counting of medications utilizing manual process and automated counting devices
Exercise proper hands sanitization and hazardous medication handling practices
Performs functions of an Operations Assistant as needed
Responsible for preparing and/or restocking the filling station with medications and supplies
Responsible for cleaning pill counting devices and general working areas
Assist with training for new employees
Packing boxes for shipment to patient
