Job Description:

Pharmacy Manager role at CVS Health focused on transforming health care, leading pharmacy teams, providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The position involves both operational management and direct patient care responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and develop pharmacy team
Oversee pharmacy operations during bench shifts
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations
Manage pharmacy inventory
Conduct new Technician and Pharmacist onboarding
Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Partner with Store Manager on talent pipeline
Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists
Write pharmacy schedules
Review business reporting
Establish culture of safety and inclusion
Maintain clinical and technical skills
Support pharmacist-delivered clinical care

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Mathematical reasoning ability
Problem resolution skills
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 20 lbs
Team management and leadership skills

Nice to have:

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program
3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business need
