Job Description:

3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health focused on hands-on training and applying pharmacy knowledge to real-world practice. The role includes supporting pharmacy teams, ensuring prescription accuracy, enhancing patient experiences, and contributing to overall health care improvement.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation
following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
contributing to positive patient experiences
offering to counsel and handling medical questions when appropriate
taking telephonic prescriptions and interacting with prescribers
maintaining high self-awareness and providing coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members
completing inventory activities such as putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts
contributing to a high-performing team and embracing feedback
remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs
understanding and complying with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to become immunization certified
ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations
proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
