Pharmacy Assistant

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming product shipments
• Ensure all items match the accompanying documentation
• Report any discrepancies or damages to the relevant internal stakeholders
• Safely and securely store pharmaceutical products in designated areas
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems
• Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of stock
• Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery to various locations
• Prepare pharmaceutical products for shipment in compliance with regulations
• Conduct regular quality checks on stored and shipped products
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate workflow
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, delivery personnel and other relevant stakeholders

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or warehouse, or similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Adherence to health and safety guidelines
• Secondary school examinations or equivalent

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements is an asset
• NVQ 2 Qualified
• Familiarity with Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C 343/01)
