Job Description:

As a Periodontist at a Heartland Dental supported office, you will be a leader in your office―managing the dental office team, mediating any conflicts that arise and promoting a positive and team-oriented work-oriented work environment where high-quality patient care is top priority. A Heartland Dental supported office is seeking a self-motivated Periodontist to provide high-quality lifetime patient care in a fast-paced and well-established affiliated office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the dental office team, mediating any conflicts that arise and promoting a positive and team-oriented work environment where high-quality patient care is top priority
  • Treat patients who have gum disease and other issues in the gums and bones surrounding the jaw
  • Placing implants, developing treatment plans and providing preventative care

Requirements:

  • DMD or DDS degree, completion of postdoctoral periodontal program
  • Current dental license in state of hire and American Board of Periodontology certification
  • Ability to travel overnight to training sessions once a month during your first year of employment
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience a plus, but not required
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
