The Performance Support Manager is a key member of the SASI Management team with a primary focus on providing strategic leadership and to develop and implement strategies and systems that enable delivery of world class performance support.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a high performing multi-disciplinary performance support team.
Drive innovation in sport science and proactive health delivery.
Develop and grow relationships with partner organisations and key stakeholders.
Provide strategic leadership and to develop and implement strategies and systems that enable delivery of world class performance support.
Responsible for the leadership and management of the Institute’s performance disciplines including Sports Physiology, Movement Science, Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement, Sports Engineering, Medicine, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Nutrition.
Manage external stakeholder relationships with national sporting organisations, the Australian Institute of Sport and Universities.
Ensure efficient, effective and quality assured service provision and facilities operations.
Deliver targeted and strategic service provision, project delivery and partnership engagement to best achieve SASI key performance indicators and strategic goals.
Provide leadership and management execution to support the pursuit of SASI culture and standards.
Provide stewardship to meet corporate reporting and compliance standards.
Requirements:
The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some work outside of normal hours may be required.
Some interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
