Job Description:

The Performance Nutrition team supports athlete performance through nutritional planning, education, and daily fueling strategies. This group works closely with sports science, medical, and performance staff to ensure athletes have access to evidence-based nutrition that supports training, recovery, and competition. Their work plays a critical role in optimizing athlete readiness and maintaining high performance standards in a high-intensity, weight-class–driven environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Performance Nutrition team with day-to-day sport nutrition–related tasks and initiatives
  • Support the setup, management, and maintenance of fueling stations, including preparation of fueling and recovery nutrition
  • Assist with planning and preparing athlete snacks and meal components under team guidance
  • Support delivery of basic athlete nutrition education as directed by Performance Nutrition staff
  • Help maintain clean, organized, and hygienic nutrition and food preparation environments
  • Collaborate with other technical and performance teams as needed to support athlete needs
  • Support the Performance Nutrition team on additional projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program in Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Science, or within 6 months of graduation
  • Possession of, or active progress toward, Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) certification
  • Strong work ethic with high attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while meeting expected outcomes
  • Strong interest in working with elite athletes, particularly within combat or high-performance sports
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Nice to have:

Experience working with athletes in weight-categorized sports is preferred
