Job Description:

As a People Planning Specialist at IKEA, you will implement people planning strategies, ensure compliance with legal standards, and contribute to staff scheduling processes. Collaborate with unit leaders to forecast staffing needs and provide educational support for the people planning process while maintaining a strong culture of togetherness and inclusion.

Job Responsibility:

Implement people planning strategy at unit level by analyzing staffing data and people analytics
Ensure compliance to IKEA employment standards, legal and union requirements related to people planning
Contribute to the unit’s complete people planning process from forecasting to schedule execution
Create draft schedules and discuss them with unit managers before publishing
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure vacancies are approved with the right contract type
Ensure unit leaders’ awareness and knowledge of the people planning process through education, training, and support.

Requirements:

Passionate about people and their well-being
Knowledge about global and country people planning approaches, market and legal requirements and budget management in people planning
Experience in organizing, storing and maintaining records and information in a confidential way
Ability to work independently and take responsibility to secure business deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication.
