Job Description:

We are on the hunt to find an experienced People Experience (PX) Advisor to deliver AMAZING by providing business focused operational and strategic HR advice and support to Head Office and Retail teams across both Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the PX Business Partner, you will assess and anticipate PX related needs, and through collaborative partnerships formed across the DECJUBA business, you will deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflect the business objectives, as well as contributing the development of new policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide general guidance and advice to teams on all aspects of the PX function and offer contemporary solutions and recommendations in relation to issues that arise
  • Provide PX advice on the interpretation of policies and procedures, employment legislation and providing risk analysis to support the advice given
  • Work closely alongside broader PX team to manage and resolve ER issues, escalating complex or high-risk issues to the PX Business Partner as needed
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to Team Leaders, with a focus on performance improvement
  • Support Team Leaders with GRIA (General Retail Industry Award) interpretation and compliance
  • Manage the PX inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner or escalating requests as needed
  • Complete any contract variations as needed by the business and process terminations, ensuring a seemless people experience for all of our team members

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate qualification in HR or similar field
  • Proven experience in an HR Generalist role, ideally within the retail industry
  • Prior experience using HR systems and applications - SAP SuccessFactors beneficial
  • Solid understanding of general HR policies and procedures, including ER and employment legislation requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build positive relationships
