Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Cupertino, California. In this role, you will manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy and compliance in all payroll-related tasks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling payroll for mid-sized teams and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Job Responsibility:

Process payroll for approximately 100 employees, including entering timecards, verifying schedules, and adjusting for breaks and other changes
Ensure payroll compliance by adhering to relevant regulations and company policies
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and managing W2 entries
Review and update contracts to ensure alignment with minimum wage and other legal requirements
Handle payroll garnishments and ensure accurate deductions
Maintain records and generate reports related to payroll activities
Assist with termination procedures, including preparing termination letters and final paychecks
Provide support for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to streamline payroll operations

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing
Proficiency in managing full-cycle payroll for teams of 100-500 employees
Familiarity with payroll garnishments and compliance regulations
Strong knowledge of W2 forms and related documentation
Experience with preparing offer and termination letters
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Effective communication skills to interact with employees and stakeholders
