A production company in Culver City is hiring a Payroll Administrator for a 4+ month contract. This is a hybrid role in Culver City and will be 30-40 hours per week. As the Payroll Administrator, you will support a payroll transition and accounting functions as we transition and enhance our systems.
Job Responsibility:
Collect, review, and reconcile digital employee timesheets
Accurately calculate PTO, overtime, and payroll adjustments
Run payroll through ADP
enter payroll journal entries (including PTO, benefits, and deductions) in QuickBooks
Maintain payroll records, support payroll compliance, and respond to employee inquiries
Assist with employee training on timesheet processes
Support transition to Guardian HR in 2026
Coordinate with part-time bookkeeper, staff accountant, and HR resources as needed
Requirements:
Proven payroll experience
Highly proficient with digital timesheets, ADP, and QuickBooks
Detail-oriented, with strong manual calculation skills
Comfortable with remote or hybrid work
Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management
Proficiency with multi-state payroll processes
Skilled in handling payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees
Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks
Strong attention to detail and manual calculation abilities
Ability to work both remotely and onsite as required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice to have:
Experience supporting transitions to outsourced HR is a plus
Familiarity with transitioning to outsourced HR systems is a plus
